Jen Nipps, Writer

I am a freelance writer/editor specializing in creativity, writing, fashion, health, & general interest.

Devoted to Creating, a book of devotions centered around creativity, is published by Devoted Books. You can order it directly from the publisher or from me.

I have been published in WritingForDollars, an ezine dedicated to writers and writing; the OWFI Report, the newsletter for the Oklahoma Writers’ Federation, Inc., for which I am web site reviews editor;; and Writers’ Journal, a print publication.

A current list of clips can be found here.

I can also be found on Twitter, Facebook, Plurk, and LinkedIn.

Information about my writing rates and other content/editorial services is on my website.

There is also information about creativity, including quotes, tips, exercises, and tools. One such tool is The Idea Pocket, which  reinforces the theory that ideas are everywhere and all you have to do is reach into your “pocket” to find one to use.

The redesign of this blog includes my entire creative journey, so there are also posts about crochet and knitting, including pictures of completed projects.

  1. Well, hey, I came over here because I saw an intriguing picture with the header, “Even Skywriters Need an Editor”….or something to that effect.

    Where is the great picture?

    Blessings anyway,

  2. I’m glad you said that! Somehow I made it a “draft” instead of making it available for public viewing.

  3. Jen, with your heart and all of your talents, you will be rolling in the dough in no time (especially if you try to make bisquits) LOL.

  5. Hi Jen,

Peter Bowerman here, author of The Well-Fed Writer and WF Self-Publisher titles. I understand you’ll be a stop on my virtual book tour with Dorothy Thompson. She asked me send you a book, which I’ve got ready to go.

Just have a quick question about the mailing address, and couldn’t find a contact link, so I thought I’d check here. Dorothy gave it to me as:

    [address removed on public page]

Just “10”? Not St. or Ave. or Rt.? Just want to make sure it gets there. Thanks!
